Tinworth

Tinworth is a village on the Cornish coast where a wizarding community settled quietly beside the Muggle one soon after the International Statute of Secrecy was signed. Bathilda Bagshot counted it in A History of Magic among a handful of places notable as homes to knots of wizarding families living alongside tolerant, and occasionally Confunded, neighbours. Bridget Wenlock lived here, and it was in Tinworth that she worked out the theorem establishing the magical properties of the number seven, when she was not wandering the village hunting for notes she had written in invisible ink and then mislaid.
