Sirius Black's bedroom
A room on the top landing of 12 Grimmauld Place, its walls covered with pictures held up by a Permanent Sticking Charm.
Sirius Black's bedroom is on the top landing of 12 Grimmauld Place, behind a door carrying a small nameplate with his name on it. Harry Potter finds the room in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, thick with dust and plainly unused for a long time. It is a large room, with a carved headboard on the bed, a tall window under long velvet curtains and a chandelier of candles. Pictures cover the walls so densely that the wallpaper barely shows through, and many are fixed in place with a Permanent Sticking Charm so that the rest of the family cannot take them down. Gryffindor banners and colours hang among photographs of Muggle motorcycles, Muggle girls in bikinis and the four Marauders. Books and papers lie strewn about the floor.
