Shell Cottage stands on its own on the outskirts of Tinworth in Cornwall, close enough to the sea for sea lavender to grow around it. The house was built by the 1970s or 1980s and belonged then to an aunt of the Weasley children, whose parents took them there when they were small. It is described as a lonely and beautiful place.
