Scourgify, the Scouring Charm, is a cleaning charm for washing things, and it appears in the third chapter of Miranda Goshawk's Book of Spells. Wizarding families use it for exactly what it says, and also as a punishment: cast on a person, it fills the mouth with soap, which has long made it the standard answer to a child who swears. It counts as household magic, and plenty of otherwise capable witches and wizards never quite get the hang of it.
