Rubeus Hagrid
Rubeus Hagrid is the gamekeeper and Keeper of Keys at Hogwarts, an enormous bearded man who lives in a hut at the edge of the grounds and keeps a fondness for creatures most wizards would rather avoid.
Keeper of Keys and Grounds at Hogwarts, Rubeus Hagrid lives in a wooden hut on the edge of the school grounds with his boarhound, Fang. He stands roughly twice as tall as an average man and three times as broad, with a wild black beard and mane covering most of his face, hands the size of dustbin lids, and dark eyes that glint like black beetles. He wears an enormous moleskin overcoat whose pockets hold almost anything: mouldy dog biscuits, a squashy package of sausages, a copper kettle, a fire poker, keys. Hagrid attended Hogwarts himself but was expelled in his third year and had his wand snapped, and Albus Dumbledore kept him on at the school afterwards. He is fiercely loyal to Dumbledore, drinks more than he should, and has a soft spot for dangerous creatures that alarms almost everyone around him.
