Rodolphus Lestrange (II)

Rodolphus Lestrange belongs to the pure-blood Lestrange family and has a younger brother, Rabastan. He was sorted into Slytherin at Hogwarts, where he ran with a set of pure-blood students that included Bellatrix Black, Lucius Malfoy and Evan Rosier. He married Bellatrix some time before 1970, and the two of them took the Dark Mark and fought for Lord Voldemort in the first war. He is a tall, thickset man with very dark hair. In the aftermath of Voldemort's fall, Rodolphus was convicted with his wife, his brother and a fourth man of torturing two Aurors for information, and he heard the sentence of life imprisonment in Azkaban with a blank stare, saying nothing.
