Polyjuice Potion
The Polyjuice Potion was a potion that allowed the drinker to temporarily assume the physical form of someone else.
The recipe for Polyjuice Potion is found in Moste Potente Potions, which is kept in the library's Restricted Section. Drawings decorate the recipe, showing figures caught midway through changing into someone else, their faces racked with pain.
Several of its ingredients are ordinary enough to sit in the student store-cupboard: lacewing flies, leeches, fluxweed and knotgrass. Others are harder to come by, among them powdered horn of a bicorn and shredded skin of a boomslang. It also calls for a bit of the person to be copied.
