Oliver Wood

Oliver Wood is Keeper and Captain of the Gryffindor Quidditch team at Hogwarts, several years above Harry Potter. He is burly and well built, with a commanding presence over his team and a maniacal look in his eye whenever he talks about Quidditch. His one ambition is a Gryffindor side better than any other in the school, and he trains his players relentlessly, three sessions a week and five before an important match, at early hours and in all weathers. He is humble about his own play, putting results down to everyone else on the team, and fair minded to a fault, but his long pep talks lose the room and he rarely notices.
