Malkin

Madam Malkin is a witch and tailor, the proprietress of Madam Malkin's Robes for All Occasions in Diagon Alley, where Hogwarts students are fitted for their school robes. She has run the shop since some time before 1929. She is squat and smiling, dressed all in mauve, and friendly with her customers until one of them turns aggressive: she will check anyone using insulting language in her shop, however wealthy, and anyone who draws a wand in it. Her charmwork is quick and quiet, and she can lift the dust off a fallen pile of robes with one pass of her wand and no incantation at all.
