Herbology at Hogwarts is taught in a row of greenhouses north of the castle, roofed with serpentine dragon statues.
The Hogwarts greenhouses stand on the grounds north of the castle, past the vegetable patch, and hold the school's Herbology lessons. Serpentine dragon statues run along their peaked roofs. Inside grow exotic and magical plants, some rare, some hard to keep alive, some outright dangerous, among them Mandrakes, Venomous Tentacula and Snargaluffs. Greenhouse One is where first-year students work.
