Goyle is a pure-blood wizard, husband of Mrs Goyle and father of Gregory Goyle, who is in the same Hogwarts year as Draco Malfoy. He is a large man, about the size of his fellow Death Eater Crabbe, and speaks in a dull, flat voice. He served Lord Voldemort during the first war and avoided Azkaban when it ended, and he made no attempt to find his master afterwards.
