Dudley Dursley

Dudley Dursley is Harry Potter's Muggle cousin in Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, the large, blond, and comprehensively spoiled only child of Vernon and Petunia Dursley of number four, Privet Drive. His parents consider him the finest boy in England; the first measure of him is a birthday tantrum over having two fewer presents than the year before, resolved by the promise of extra ones. Dudley's hobbies include television, eating, and Harry Hunting, the chase game he plays with his gang at his cousin's expense, and he has never once been made to share, wait, or want. In the autumn he is off to Smeltings, his father's old school, complete with a knobbly stick the students are encouraged to whack each other with.
