Dudley Dursley

Dudley Dursley's parents believe there is no finer boy anywhere. As a baby he throws tantrums and his cereal at the walls, and one new word he learns is Won't. The photographs on the mantelpiece show him first as something like a large pink beach ball in bonnets, then as a large blond boy on his first bicycle and at the fair.

His birthday presents almost hide the kitchen table. By the start of the summer holidays he has broken a new video camera, crashed a remote control airplane and knocked down old Mrs. Figg with his racing bike. He leads a gang of big boys, Piers, Dennis, Malcolm and Gordon, whose favorite sport is Harry Hunting, and in September he is going to Smeltings, his father's old private school.
