The Disillusionment Charm is a concealment spell that makes its target take on the exact colour and texture of whatever lies behind it, turning a person or an animal into something close to a chameleon. Wizards keep hippogriffs and winged horses under it so that Muggles notice nothing unusual, recasting daily as the effect wears thin. In the hands of a rare few, it hides the caster completely.
