Diagon Alley

Diagon Alley is wizarding London's hidden high street, first entered in Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone when Hagrid taps the right brick in a wall behind the Leaky Cauldron pub and the archway opens. The cobbled street beyond sells everything on a Hogwarts supply list: wands at Ollivanders, robes at Madam Malkin's, books at Flourish and Blotts, cauldrons, telescopes, and owls. At its heart stands Gringotts, the goblin-run wizarding bank, a towering white building above vaults sunk deep under London. Invisible to the Muggle city around it, the alley serves as the commercial centre of magical Britain, the place where new students first see the wizarding world in full daylight, out shopping and pleased with itself.
