Devil's Snare
A magical plant of soft, springy tendrils that binds and strangles whatever touches it, gripping harder the more a victim struggles.
Devil's Snare is a magical plant whose mass of soft, springy tendrils and vines binds and strangles whatever touches it. The plant answers resistance with more force: the harder a victim struggles, the faster and tighter it binds them. It prefers dark, damp places, stops still in front of bright light and recoils from the heat of fire, so a well placed light or flame spell drives it back off its victims. It resembles the harmless Flitterbloom closely enough to be mistaken for it.
