Arthur Weasley

Arthur Weasley works at the Ministry of Magic, in the Misuse of Muggle Artefacts Office, and lives with his wife Molly and their children at the Burrow, a crooked and much-extended house near the village of Ottery St Catchpole. He is tall and thin, with the red hair shared by all his family, though he is balding by the early 1990s, and he wears glasses. Muggles fascinate him. He collects plugs and batteries, asks visitors about electricity, and cannot always contain his delight at ordinary objects anyone else would walk past. He holds plainly that magical and Muggle people deserve the same respect, a view that earns him contempt from pure-blood families such as the Malfoys and does his Ministry career no favours at all.
