Amycus Carrow is a lumpy, squat Death Eater with a lopsided leer and a wheezy giggle, who arrives at the castle alongside his sister Alecto.
He climbs the tower to its summit with the other Death Eaters and crows over a disarmed, solitary Dumbledore, praising Draco for it. Dumbledore greets him with calm courtesy, and a remark about old age sends him into a sudden fury. In the fighting below he hurls the Cruciatus Curse again and again at Ginny Weasley, plainly enjoying himself, until Harry's jinx throws him against a wall.
