Amos Diggory

Amos Diggory is a wizard in the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures at the Ministry of Magic. He is tall, with a ruddy face and a scrubby brown beard, and he lives with his family near the village of Ottery St Catchpole. In company he is friendly and paternal, though his loud voice and his boasting can come across as haughty. The boasting is almost always about his son Cedric, a Hogwarts student whose accomplishments Amos raises at every opportunity, roaring with delight over a Quidditch match well played.
