Pawn

Pawn is proof that in Hardcore Leveling Warrior even a chess piece can ruin someone's day. It is a summon produced by the player Ham's Personal Attribute and Conceptual Magic, Rule: Chess, taking the field in Lucid Adventure as an armored warrior patterned in checkered black and white. As a summon it follows Ham's commands, and whether any independent thought moves behind the armor is an open question. What is not in question is the craft: Pawn is a close-range fighter that hunts down its target to strike with the sword in its right hand, and its swordsmanship runs high-level enough that even a casual, unskilled-looking stab from it pierces defenses that unique weapons fail to scratch. For the entry-level piece on the board, it makes a strong argument about what the rest of the set must be like.
