Troglodyte
Troglodytes are small, muscular lizard monsters with an upper body like a Komodo dragon and long, bent, kangaroo-like legs.
Troglodytes are lizard-like humanoids that dress in loincloths and fight with crude clubs. One of the smallest kinds, the level 2 Troglodyte Pygmy, stands about three feet tall and resembles a Komodo dragon walking upright, small but muscular, with long, bent, scaly legs built like a kangaroo's. Pygmy warriors are not bright, but they are quick, venomous and armed with big fangs, and they hop toward their targets, hissing.
Larger kinds exist. Level 3 Troglodyte Bashers are about twice the size of a pygmy, close to human height, with more ordinary legs and no special tricks. Level 4 Troglodyte Virtuosos are pygmy-sized but can lash out with a thin, wet tongue from almost fifteen feet away, and the tongue stings like a whip and carries poison.
