Shi Maria is a unique monster shown as a screaming spider woman.
Shi Maria has a great many names, around twenty by one count. A monster listing files her in its very last section, where Shi Maria itself turns up only in a sub-index of her alternate names. She makes her home in a swamp, with a web stretched over the whole area. By one account she is a demi-god, though only half a real one. Her special abilities include permanent insanity and permanent blindness.
