Rage Elemental

A Rage Elemental's body is a sizzling mass of black and purple smoke, carried on six legs that end in obsidian claws as big as rakes. The claws look like the only solid part of it. All six legs match, though the front pair of claws is longer, with extra joints that make them look like fingers.

A horned skull flickers in the middle of the smoke. It is the skull of some animal, something like a giant badger, though its horns curve like a goat's, and its eyes are red fire that pours out smoke. The monster's description brushes past its history, which it calls interesting and tragic, assuming that anyone reading it is already running.
