Pawna's Tears is a highly valuable potion that raises any one spell or skill its drinker picks by five.
Pawna's Tears comes in a bottle unlike most potions, rounder and more ornate, in the manner of an expensive perfume, and smoke rises from the glass. Pawna, whose name it carries, is the goddess of peace.
Its worth comes partly from the fact that it keeps. A potion that adds three levels to a random skill has a short shelf life and must be drunk right away. Pawna's Tears, by contrast, can be saved, so a skill can be trained up to fifteen and then pushed to twenty with it.
