Interdiction Rapid-Response Railway Repair Cart

The Interdiction Rapid-Response Railway Repair Cart has a long, pole-mounted blade across its front, low to the ground, with two notches shaped to the tracks so that it rides flush along them. On the port side the blade rises in two right angles, leaving room for the third rail to pass beneath.

By its own description, the cart heads out immediately to clear the line when the Iron Tangle has one of its rare accidents, and it can travel up a line as much as five times faster than an ordinary passenger car. Its debris scoop carries running trains and their passengers safely back to the railyard, and then switches to abyss mode to clear away the wreck.
