Fort Freedom is a fortress at the river palace of the Naiad, home to the leaders of the Naiad Confederacy.
Fort Freedom stands mostly underwater, a castle that glitters in the dark out in a river a mile and a half wide or wider at that point. From the edge of the forest above it, a long, muddy slope runs down to the water, bare of foliage so that the naiads can see anything coming.
A single trail paved with rock leads from the trees to a stone archway that ends at the riverbank. Alarms and summoning traps cover the slope, while the stone walkway is laid with silent ones.
