Diwata is a minor nature goddess, described as a low-rent Apito, and a rare one. She changes genders but is usually referred to as her. Her natural form is a giant, squirrel-like creature with antlers, covered in moss and leaves. She is vengeful, and she can make trees grow and summon animals.
Some of the dryads are thought to worship her. A Temple of Diwata holds a small shrine with water, and its wide room is filled with tree branches, vines and potted plants. Anyone who bears the Enemy of the Church tattoo is attacked on sight by her adherents anywhere outside a Club Vanquisher.
