Claude Sludgington the Fourth

Claude Sludgington the Fourth comes from a breed of river bottom-dwellers, which the game's description nicknames the River Squatter and the Mud Kato and calls water pigs. A frog-like creature, he is also listed by the game as a lizard-class mob.

By that description, anyone who lives underwater in a river knows never to invite one of his kind home, because they never leave. They are cute when young, it says, and they tell jokes, dance well and mix a mean pisco sour. At the end of a party, though, they settle in the middle of the room, declaring that they live there. His kind receive a tenfold constitution bonus when rooted in place, and they are notoriously hard to kill, or even to move. The description also repeats a rumor that they dislike belly rubs.
