Boomer is a colonel who leads a military unit called the 106th Bloody Leeches.
Boomer hardly looks like an elf. He calls to mind an enormously fat bulldog, pickled for thousands of years and then fitted with elf ears, and he chomps on an unlit cigar as he talks. He is grizzled, as solid as he is old, with a voice to match. His talk is coarse.
The game lists him as an Elven Legate at level 62. The name of his class, Legate, causes some confusion, but its buffs can reach a great many soldiers at the same time.
