Black Nimbus

Black Nimbus is a single-target spell of the Involuntary Abjuration type that cuts its target off from the favor of their god. While it lasts, the target loses the blessing of their deity along with every buff and effect tied to it, and cannot set foot inside a church or temple. Higher levels of the spell raise the odds of forcing a smite on the target.

The spell is cast instantly, its cost is tied to an item, and it has a cooldown of one hour. Its effect lasts 30 seconds plus the caster's Intelligence and Constitution, minus half the target's Intelligence. The Enchanted Nipple Ring of the Defiler grants the power to cast it, and the spell's own warning advises against using it on followers of a single religion more than two or three times running.
