The Apostate Box is a prize box handed out after a shrine is destroyed improperly, and it counts as only a mixed blessing.
The Apostate Box is a prize box that comes from destroying a god's shrine improperly. Its description calls it technically a prize but a good news and bad news sort of thing. Gods take offense when an outsider breaks a shrine, because an improper destruction costs the god some of its power, and every other god can see the loss, which the description calls quite humiliating. One grade of it is the Gold Apostate Box.
