Tylwyth Waff, a Tleilaxu Master and Masheikh of the Ruling Council, in practice the leader who sets the direction of the Bene Tleilax.
Among the Bene Tleilax, Tylwyth Waff is a Mahai, which is their word for a Master, and one of the ten Masheikhs who sit on the Ruling Council. In practice he leads that council, which puts the direction of the Bene Tleilax in his hands. Like most Masheikhs he has lived for thousands of years through one ghola replacement after another, and a great deal of that time has gone into guiding the Tleilaxu's secret religious agenda. His Sufi and Zensunni convictions are genuine, and they sit uneasily beside what he is willing to do.
