Schwangyu, a Reverend Mother of the Bene Gesserit, oversees a Keep on the planet Gammu.
Small and wrinkled, Schwangyu wears a conventional black robe that hides a skinny figure. Her mouth is wide, with the lower lip pinched by lines that fan down into a jutting chin, and she wears contact lenses that mimic a non-addict's pupils and slightly bloodshot whites.
Her voice is flat and emotionless, and all the more powerful for it, like an instructor talking down to an acolyte. She is curt and abrupt in manner, which the uninitiated often mistake for anger, and she keeps to herself more than most of her rank.
