Reverend Mother Schwangyu was the Bene Gesserit Reverend Mother who was in command of Bene Gesserit forces on the planet Gammu during the time of the return of the Honored Matres from the Scattering.
Schwangyu is a small, elderly woman with wrinkled features, a jutting chin, and a wide mouth constricted at the lower lip by age lines. Her skinny figure is concealed by a black robe. She sometimes wears contact lenses to hide the distinctive eyes of a Bene Gesserit, and she is trained in the Voice of Command.
