Glossu Rabban
Glossu Rabban, called Beast, eldest nephew of Baron Vladimir Harkonnen and Count of Lankiveil, known on Arrakis as Mudir Nahya, the Demon Ruler.
The Baron took his eldest nephew in hand early, and the mentoring took. Glossu Rabban holds the county of Lankiveil, and he came of age running the Harkonnen slave pits on Giedi Prime, where he tortured and killed a great many people, Gurney Halleck's sister among them, and left Halleck with the inkvine scar on his cheek. The name Beast attached to him there. His younger brother Feyd-Rautha was taken into the Baron's household to be raised as heir while Rabban succeeded his father at Lankiveil, and he has held Arrakis for the family besides, where his rule was heavy enough that the Fremen called him Mudir Nahya, the Demon Ruler.
