Ghola
An artificially grown human, replicated from the dead in a Tleilaxu axlotl tank from as little as a single cell of the original.
Given as little as a single cell of someone who has died, the Bene Tleilax can grow that person again in an axlotl tank, and what comes out is a ghola. Almost all of them are Tleilaxu work. What separates a ghola from a clone is the timing of the cells: ghola material is taken after the original has died, clone material while the source is still living. Early gholas could be picked out by their artificial metallic eyes, a defect of the production method that was later corrected. The trade began as consolation for the grieving, and it only went so far, because a ghola remembered nothing of the life it had been grown from.
