The town itself does not know what the Wolves are or where they ride from; a generation's dread rides ahead of them. Roland Deschain, the last gunslinger of a world that has moved on, seeks the Dark Tower, the axis of all worlds, and the road to the Tower runs through the borderlands where the Calla and its trouble wait.
