The Troitans, called the Blue Faced Barbarians, are tribes out of the country north-west of Indrie. They worship a pantheon of loosely defined spider gods, and their life is built around war, hunting and raiding. Each tribe is ruled by a Warrior General, and the title is taken in hand-to-hand combat. Before a fight they paint their faces with a bright blue paste ground from lapis lazuli.
