An oracle is a lesser demon, bound to a stone circle and unable to leave it. In older days the circles were fed with human sacrifice. An oracle can be male or female as it chooses, and it will trade prophecy for coupling, which is a poor bargain for anyone who does not know demons well: the usual price of the asking is the questioner's soul. What an oracle likes best is human desire.
