Jericho Hill is a hill above the sea where the last dozen gunslingers, Roland and Cuthbert among them, make their stand against a blue-painted remnant of John Farson's army.
Crossing the desert, Roland thinks of it as the place where long ago he lost his horn along with the final companions of his youth. Folk in the Calla know it only from tales of blood and thunder, but to Roland it is real: in his dream two thousand howling men face a dozen, and Cuthbert, shot and laughing, cries that they have them right where they want them and asks whether they should charge.
