The Hambry Sheriff's Department is the body of lawmen who keep order in Hambry, under Sheriff Herkimer Avery. Their office stands at the top of Hill Street, built to the same pattern as the Post Office and the Gathering Hall beside it. The whole arsenal is a gun case holding two ancient rifles, so for everything else the deputies carry bolas, crossbows and daggers. A door off the main office opens on the jail, three small cells set along either side of a corridor.
