Devil grass is a narcotic weed that will grow almost anywhere in Mid-World, including ground as poor as the Mohaine Desert. It is usually smoked and it takes hold quickly. Long-time users chew it instead, which turns their teeth green and gives them a smell nobody wants to sit near. Where nothing else will burn, a traveller may have to make his fire of it.
