Coral Thorin is the hard-handed owner of the Traveller's Rest saloon in Wizard and Glass and sister of Hambry's mayor, a woman who misses nothing that happens in the town after dark.
Coral Thorin keeps the books and the bar in Wizard and Glass, the fourth book of The Dark Tower, in the story of Roland's youth. She is the sister of Hart Thorin, Mayor of Hambry, and the owner of the Traveller's Rest, the town's one big saloon, which she runs with a dry wit and a hand harder than her brother's whole administration. Once a landowner's daughter of standing, she has settled into the saloon trade without apology, keeps her own counsel, lets no sentiment into business, and reserves a rare soft spot for Sheemie, the simple young man who mops her floors. In Hambry, little happens after dark that Coral does not hear about by morning.
