Calvin Tower was a New York City bookseller who loved his stock too much to sell it, running The Manhattan Restaurant of the Mind alongside his friend Aaron Deepneau.
Calvin Tower wears glasses that he flips down onto his nose for a closer look and pushes back up onto the dome of his bald head afterwards. He is a fat man with a large, soft hand.
His talk runs to flourishes, and hurry, by his own account, is against his nature. He only leases the building, he says, and his counter is a place for coffee and chess.
