Andy is the messenger robot of Calla Bryn Sturgis in Wolves of the Calla, a tall, cheerful relic of North Central Positronics fond of horoscopes and of carrying the town's news.
Andy belongs to Wolves of the Calla, where he has served the farming town of Calla Bryn Sturgis for generations. He is a messenger robot, seven feet of gleaming metal built by LaMerk Industries and North Central Positronics in the age before the world moved on, one of the last working relics of that age on the borderlands. His stated designation is Messenger, Many Other Functions, and the function he loves best is telling horoscopes, which he offers freely whether or not anyone asks. Cheerful, courtly, and impossible to insult for long, Andy is the first voice many in the Calla hear when there is news, good or ill, to carry.
