Yeddaw is a city of Tashikk cut down into a flat stone plain, its people living in a maze of deep trenches while they farm the fields above.
Scribes in Azir say the city is young, carved about a hundred years back by the Imperial Shardblades of Azir, hired for the job. From a hilltop Lift sees hundreds of linked cuts, two or three stories deep, spiraling toward a mound-like building at the center, with broad channels leading away to carry off storm water. She has heard of its pancakes with things cooked into them, eaten during the Weeping in ten varieties, and means to steal one of each.
