Urithiru

Urithiru is a city out of Rosharan legend, discussed in The Way of Kings, the first book of the Stormlight Archive. Old accounts name it the seat of the Knights Radiant during the age called the Heraldic Epochs, and the center of the ten Silver Kingdoms, a place said to hold a throne for each of their monarchs. No modern map marks its location. Scholars in the series treat the city as a puzzle of history: some records place it somewhere west of the ancient kingdom of Alethela, and a few old writers claim it could not be reached on foot at all. Vorin tradition holds that knowledge of the city faded long before the present day, and students of history argue over how much of the story is real. At the series' start, Urithiru is a name in old books and nothing more.
