Among the Shin, Truthless is the name for one of their own judged to have betrayed the people in some fundamental way, in The Way of Kings. They count a Truthless the lowest of them and therefore worthless, though the punishment is rare among them. One so named is stripped of choice: they are bound to obey in all things whoever holds their Oathstone, and they are forbidden to take their own lives.
