Thaidakar

Thaidakar is a name spoken in the Stormlight Archive, which begins with The Way of Kings, in connection with the Ghostbloods, a secretive organization at work on Roshar. The Ghostbloods surface early as rumor and threat: a group with money, reach, and a sharp interest in dangerous scholarship, whose members mark themselves with a symbol of three interlocking diamonds. Thaidakar is named as the figure at the organization's head, a master who does not appear in person, whose orders arrive through intermediaries, and whom even confident people mention with care. Where he resides, what he looks like, what he wants, and why his organization spends so freely in pursuit of it are questions the early books leave standing exactly as they found them.
