Silnasen is a city in southern Jah Keved, with the town of Ironsway just north of the mountains near it. The ancient Siln dynasty of Jah Keved was founded after the death of King NanKhet, though no contemporary account of it survives. The best the Alethi have was written two centuries later by Natata Ved, called Oileyes by her contemporaries, who insisted that her methods were rigorous, at a time when historical scholarship was by modern standards still in its infancy.
