Kishi

Kishi is a name given to a woman moving through the streets of Kholinar, the capital of Alethkar; the man who offers it tells her the name means Mystery. The woman wears a havah, the traditional dress of Alethi women, and passes through the city quietly, observing far more than she says. Kholinar itself is one of the great cities of Roshar, built among towering fins of natural rock called windblades, and its crowded streets hold beggars, revelers, and wanderers of every station. Nothing else about the bearer of the name is established: a passing name, and a small mystery of its own.
