Kef'ha is a nuatoma, a clan leader among the Unkalaki of the Horneater Peaks. He brings members of his household down from the Peaks to challenge a Shardbearer for Shardplate and a Shardblade, reasoning that a Shardbearer without a Blade is the easier opponent. No nuatoma of the Peaks has yet won Shardplate or a Shardblade from the Alethi or the Vedens they challenge, and by Unkalaki custom a great sum of riches must be offered for the chance to duel at all. Rock, a cook of his household, is among those who come down with him.
